Summary:
A data-as-a-service company and leading Location-based Data Aggregator is seeking an entrepreneurial Head of Data Supply Partnerships to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Own the mission-critical data supply function by sourcing new data supply relationships, negotiating data supply agreements, and managing data supplier relationships
- Lead a data sourcing motion resulting in new data supply partnerships that will support core data products
- Leverage sales tools to reach out to thousands of prospective data supply partners (typically mobile application developers or owners)
- Act as initial point of contact with potential data supply partners
- Manage an active BD pipeline, including initial outreach, introductory phone calls, qualification, and terms negotiation
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers (your internal customers) to evaluate potential data sources, negotiate terms, and re-negotiate contracts as needed
- Collaborate with Product and Finance leaders to align new and existing supply deals with product and company goals and budgets
- Leverage contractors as needed for increased speed and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Track record of success in Data Sales, AdTech Publisher Development, Building audience through selling to App’s or Digital Publishers
- Great with people – outgoing, persuasive, articulate
- Hands-on (this is an individual contributor role) but can leverage a team of outsourced contractors (SDRs, etc) for leverage when needed
- Experience working in a modern technology company or similar
- Experience in the mobile ecosystem (working with app developers/owners), geospatial data, big data, or AdTech inventory supply growth is preferred
- Will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment in the fast-changing data industry
