Summary:
A highly successful Digital Media companies with a focus on Health, Wellness, Fitness and related content is looking for a Digital Media Salesperson with pharmaceutical, OTC, or CPG account experience.
Responsibilities:
- Sell current and new ad products and strategic initiatives
- Develop the strategies needed to help clients make informed decisions through a consultative sales approach
- Utilize forecasting and business analytical skills to take advantage of opportunities and to expand relationships
- Build relationships with agency and brand decision makers alike
- Develop, craft, and pitch client proposal and brand opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams to identify key strategies to maximize impact of clients’ campaigns
- Work closely with sales support groups such as Sales Planning, Marketing Solutions, Traders, Business Intelligence, and others to increase close rate and maximum campaign performance
- Spearhead media activation strategies and delivering innovation
- Create an environment of collaboration, teamwork, learning, and sharing that can help drive success
- Digital savviness a must with a strong understanding of media tactics, new innovations, custom content, programmatic capabilities, data, and measurement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Advertising experience
- Extensive client deal-making experience and a desire to aggressively “hunt” and develop new business
- Excels in an entrepreneurial sales environment with only moderate supervision. Can handle the complexities of managing a territory with East Coast support teams
- Effectively blends the need to be a brand champion, a data expert, and a client consultant in order to maximize territory sales
- Excellent written and verbal skills, professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and enjoys working on a team
- Relevant vertical marketplace experience and familiarity across Pharmaceutical and Healthcare-related customers.
- Digital media sales preferred
- Agency experience in both the planning and buying of interactive media a plus

Companies also have other elements of compensation, including but not limited to, commission, bonus, equity, profit sharing, varying levels of healthcare coverage and how much a person would have to contribute to the premium, various perks like continuing education, commuter reimbursement, phone reimbursement, etc. – not included in “salary” as the law states. Thus, know that anything we note in a salary range does NOT include such other compensation elements. And, as recruiters, we don’t know what all of those elements are, as we are recruiting for a company, not for ourselves, and they do not brief us as to each benefit. We are a 3rd party and can only estimate to the best of our knowledge, and thus offer the minimum and maximum salary MRG in good faith believes at the time of the posting the client is willing to pay for the advertised job.
Qualified by all of the above, for this job with requisite/required years of the required experience and skills, the minimum and maximum salary is approximated at $130k and $140k respectfully, exclusive of commission, bonus, equity, profit sharing, any element of healthcare coverage, any reference to how much a person would have to contribute to the premium of a healthcare plan, any perks, or other forms of compensation. Fewer years of experience could bring the base salary lower, and more experience could bring the base salary higher, if the company is willing to increase their salary bands.
